St Joseph's Home for chronically ill children, Cape Town

believe

Our children participated in the exciting St. Joseph's Home Special Needs Primary School's Sports Day at the end of February. Every year, we are inspired by our children's amazing willpower to overcome their physical challenges.

T The event is held to promote the significance of healthy lifestyle, to encourage tolerance and community spirit. Our children learn that anything is possible as long as they believe in themselves. And of course, the Sports Day is all about having fun and being part of a team!

Racing down tracks in wheelchairs and pushing themselves to great achievements, our children astonished us with their strength, perseverance and vitality.

We are so proud to have these special little fighters in our care.

Eggciting Easter Crafting

At St. Joseph's Home, we place value on our children's rest and recreation.

With the support of our volunteers, we are able to give our children the opportunity to engage in various activities as part of the afterschool programme.

During the Easter season, our children spent some afternoons crafting Easter decorations and cards showing us amazing creativity and originality!
