Project:

We seek to replace a 15 passenger van which has over 300,000 kilometers. The passenger van is used for the transport of children to local provincial hospitals for medical treatment.

Objective:

All of our children require on-going medical treatment at one of several provincial hospitals. Each day we transport upwards of 30 children to the provincial hospitals for medical treatment in and around Cape Town. In the late afternoon hours the vehicles are used for transport of children to outings, and to maintain family contacts.

Requested Amount:

R355 000. The van will need to be modified to allow wheelchair transport and will be modified to include the safe storage of oxygen tanks.

The services we provide is of critical need to the children we care for. Your support will be a vital part of the solution for the children who through no fault of their own require our specialized convalescent care and on-going hospital treatment. With your support St. Joseph's can continue to deliver excellent holistic service that has effectively made a difference in saving the lives of children since 1935.
