The Nursing School at St Josephs Home was opened in1974 and trained Enrolled Nursing Assistants up to 2000. Thereafter it was dormant until it reopened on 2nd January 2008: an important event considering the critical shortage of trained nurses in South Africa. This was made possible by a very generous donor, Mr Werner Hoffmeier and his family, to whom we are so grateful.
