Motivation:

Each year during the winter months, we experience very cold weather. At times, we have 3 and 4 blankets covering some of the children. Our children have chronic illnesses and we need to keep a moderate temperature in the medical wards in order to keep them healthy. By installing air conditioning units we will be able to regulate the temperature in each of the medical wards, which will enhance the living environment and help the children to heal. We are only planning to install these units in the 3 Medical wards that serve infants, toddlers and young children up to age 6 years of age.

We are requesting your support of R225 000 to install all 6 units in the three medical wards, or R75 000 to install 2 units in one medical ward. Your support today makes you a vital part of the solution for the children who through no fault of their own require our specialized convalescent care. With your help St Joseph's will continue to deliver excellent holistic service that has effectively made a difference in saving the lives of children since 1935.
